The Smoke Free Stockton Alliance is a multi-agency steering group. The core members include representatives of a wide range of partners from Trading Standards, Cabinet Member for Adult Service and Health, Environmental Health, Cleveland Fire Service, Integrated Youth Support Services, Stockton Public Health, Stockton Riverside College and Stockton & Hartlepool Stop Smoking Services.
Our vision is to work collaboratively to reduce tobacco related harm via the local Smoke Free Alliance Action plan to contribute to health inequalities and to improve the health and wellbeing of the population in the Borough.
The Alliance provides support and commitment to developing, implementing and monitoring the Tobacco Control Action Plan. This year the Alliance has gone through the Scrutiny Review and CLeaR Self-assessment to form the Smoke Free Alliance’s priority, including helping people to stop smoking, preventing young people uptake smoking habit and stronger regulatory framework.
The Allinace members meet every 6-weekly on Thursday morning. If you would like to join us to support this agenda, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
